As we all know...well most college football fans...yesterday went down in history as Georgia State's first football game! (WoooHooooo!!!) And even though I'm taking an extexded vacay from school (dont ask..long story :-/ ), I'm soooo proud of the football team for their win! I mean, afterall I'm still a panther at heart! We've been waiting so long for GSU to have that "normal" university feeling. First the dorms were moved to be in walking distance of the campus, there's more taking place on and around campus, then we finally get Greek housing and now a FOOTBALL TEAM! Can you imagine? a real HomeComing this year! (YAY!)
Over 30,000 people came out to support the new team. That was more in attendance than the Braves game on the same night. Not bad guys. Not bad at all.
People are trying to give GSU crap for the win b/c Shorter College isnt really considered tough competition, but HEY!..a win is a win. LOL.
So again, congrats on the win and I couldn't make it to this game but I will definitely be at the next one. Not to mention seeing tweets like "@ajcgsu: it's in the books, GSU 41,
